About Autumn Lodge Aged Care

Autumn Lodge Aged Care is a not-for-profit, community-based aged care service, situated in Armidale in the beautiful New England area of NSW.

The original concept of supported care was initiated on the site in 1896 by the Armidale Ladies Relief Society. The present-day village began in 1956 with the Willowdene Hostel and has expanded to include a comfortable living environment on four acres of parklike grounds within two kilometres of the Armidale CBD.

The management board is comprised of directors who give their time in a voluntary capacity. Directors are local community members with expertise in areas useful for the efficient running of an aged care centre and have a passion for seeing Autumn Lodge continuing to grow into a state-of-the-art service.

At Autumn Lodge, we understand the difficulty of choosing a new home for yourself or loved one and know that the process can be overwhelming. Our fully trained and devoted staff will provide guidance and support throughout the transition in your lifestyle and accommodation choice.
Our aim is to provide a friendly, home-like atmosphere for older people where they feel their needs are both heard and met.
