CHARTER OF RESIDENT'S RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Charter of Resident's Rights and Responsibilities 


The Aged Care Act and User Rights Principles 1997 recognise that a person's rights are not diminished when he or she moves into a residential aged care facility through a Charter of Residents' Rights and Responsibilities, The legislation also recognises that residents of residential care facilities have the responsibility to exercise their individual rights in ways that do not adversely affect other residents' rights.
